400,000 in Silent March Over Mysterious Death

Alberto Nisman, a special prosecutor in Argentina tasked with investigating the bombing of a Jewish community centre in 1994, died under very mysterious circumstances a month ago. He died a day before he was gong to testify on his findings he had alleged that the government under the President Cristina Fernandez had covered up the role of Iranian officials in the bombing in exchange for a trade deal. Prosecutor Viviana Fein, the lead investigator into Nisman’s death stated that no gunpowder residue was found on Nisman’s hands and the arrest warrant for the President was found on the property. In an unusual protest 400,000 people marched to demand a proper investigation into Nisman’s death.
