End of Alzheimer’s?

Hope for a cure for Alzheimer’s was revived this Friday as an experimental drug was found to slow down the disease. In a clinical trial, a drug developed by Biogen Idec called Aducanumab was found not only to reduce plaque built up in the brain, but also reduce cognitive decline.

There have been many trials using different drugs to get rid of plaque, considered to be one of the causes of Alzheimer’s, though none have been successful. “It’s certainly encouraging,” said Dr. Samuel Gandy, director of the Center for Cognitive Health in New York.

Thanks for every other initamrofve site. Where else may I get that type of information written in such an ideal approach? I have a challenge that I am simply now operating on, and I’ve been on the glance out for such info.
