An End in Sight For Deadly Ebola

Nearly 4000 people have died from Ebola in the last year. This disease has been found in some of the world’s poorest countries and is one of the deadliest in history. Till now, there has been no really effective cure for Ebola. However, over the past few months a medical trial has been in progress which, it is believed, now has had a breakthrough.

After being tested on a number of people by the World Health Organisation, the vaccine from this trial has proven to be very effective. Therefore, it is now being distributed across countries where Ebola is still present. Over 7,600 people in Guinea have already received the vaccine.
