The creators of this test, College Board, recently announced that the results for students who took their SAT this year. These tests yielded the lowest average SAT score in the last decade. Only around 40% of students who took the test received a score of 1550 or higher. There are many reasons for scores to suddenly plummet this year. One being the fact that the SAT is changing in 2016 so many juniors are rushing to take the test before the switch. Though, with a world average of 1490, educators are still very worried.
