Last month, three British teenage girls left the United Kingdom for Turkey where they are suspected to have crossed the border and gone to Syria. They wrote letters to their families before running away, stating that their intention was to join the Islamic State.
On Friday, a video was released on a Turkish news channel with what appeared to be a man helping the three teenagers on their way. It was said that the video was filmed on Turkey’s border with Syria by the man helping them. The man is said to be working for an intelligence service that is against the IS coalition. Government officials have said that the video came from the police but the rest is unknown.
