Hot Sauce May Lead to a Longer Life

Pouring a few drops of hot sauce onto your food may add the extra tang you needed, but it was never thought that adding a few more could extend your life. In recent studies conducted by the Chinese Academy of Medicinal Sciences, it was found that people who have spicy food more than 3 times a week, have a 10% reduced risk of death in comparison to those who only have spicy food once or twice a week. For people who eat spicy food almost everyday, the risk of death was reduced to 14%. Though the scientific link between a long life and spicy food has not been clearly established, it has been proven to be extremely good for reducing inflammation and improving your metabolic rate.
